In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, thousands of immigrants approaching New York City by ship were greeted by a symbol of friendship and freedom - the Statue of Liberty. Since this time, with as many as 800 spoken languages, this melting pot has become one of the most culturally diverse in the world.


Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, go to the top of the Empire state building, stroll through Central Park - the list of iconic landmarks goes on and on.


Take your students on cruise by Lady Liberty with a visit to Ellis Island’s Immigration Museum. Enjoy a slice of pizza in Times Square. Catch a Broadway Show!
